Dr. Ryan earned a M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and chief residency at the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Ryan is the President of Doheny Eye Institute. He is a Professor of Ophthalmology and continues to maintain a clinical practice with an emphasis on retina and macular disease and ocular trauma.
