Vikas Chopra, MDVikas Chopra, M.D.
After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, Dr. Chopra completed a research fellowship in molecular biology at the Beckman Research Institute of City of Hope. Dr. Chopra earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University where he also completed an internship in Internal Medicine. He then completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University's Detroit Medical Center. After advanced training in refractive surgery at Beitman Laser Eye Institute, Dr. Chopra returned to Kresge Eye Institute, Wayne State University for a glaucoma fellowship. Dr. Chopra's clinical interests include current techniques for glaucoma surgery, the use of Optical Coherence Tomography, and refractive surgery procedures.
