Doheny Eye Medical Group: A patient care facility where patients are seen for a second opinion or for treatment of conditions that merit the special skills of Doheny physicians. An ambulatory surgery center within the Institute building is used for out-patient eye surgery; in-patient eye surgery is performed at the USC University Hospital, adjacent to the Institute building.

USC Department of Ophthalmology: All Doheny physicians and researchers are members of the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology, Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, enabling an interface between Doheny faculty and other medical school scientists to create an exceptionally advanced center for vision research and treatment.
